A new way of working post COVID-19: Expectations of young engineers in Europe

The #EYE Future of Work working group has published a paper tackling the transformation of the workplace due to Covid-19: “A new way of working post Covid-19: Expectations of young engineers in Europe”. The paper aims to answer the following challenging and vital questions:
– How Covid-19 has transformed the workplace?
– How has the pandemic affected the parameters that young European engineers prioritise when applying for jobs?
The basis of this policy paper is a survey with participation of over 300 young engineers from over 20 countries in Europe. The survey was conducted from September 2020 to June 2021 to take into account the impact of the Corona pandemic. The conclusions obtained will help companies create working conditions that meet the needs of the next generation of young European engineers.
